5/11/2004 Chirpers and Peepers coming to the BWC The Bengel Wildlife Center will be the site for a program for all ages entitled ÒIntroduction to the Frogs and Toads of Michigan,Ó on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. The presenter will be Steve Allen of the Kalamazoo Nature Center, as southwest Michigan naturalist. Attendees will learn how to see and hear these animals, learn their life cycles, habitat requirements and protection. After the program attendees will visit the marsh right behind the building to listen for the CenterÕs frogs and toads. The program is sponsored by the Conservancy and the Friends of the Bengel Wildlife, and is free to the public. |
